A few simple terms.

LOGEN AI is a free studio for learning objectives from VIABLE Lab, a research lab. These terms keep it useful and fair for every educator. Using LOGEN AI, with or without an account, means you agree to them and to how we handle data in Privacy & data.

Your work stays yours

The projects and objectives you create belong to you. You let us store and process them only to run the features you use, like AI suggestions and sync, and as described in Privacy & data.

AI suggests; you decide

AI can be wrong, miss your context, or reflect bias. Read every suggestion and review before you use it with learners. Which objectives you keep, and how you use them, is your call.

Use it with care

Keep learners’ names and other personal details out of what you write. Don’t use LOGEN AI to harm others, break the law, or disrupt the service, and please don’t work around Credits, for example with extra accounts to collect invitation rewards.

Classes

Anyone can create a class and invite learners. As an instructor, you see your learners’ class work and how it changed, and you use it only for teaching and feedback, under your institution’s policies for student work. Deleting a class deletes its work for everyone. As a learner, the class can pause AI writing in your own projects until you leave it or it closes.

Free AI use

Credits, allowances, and invitation rewards are free and have no cash value. We may adjust them as the project grows, and may pause AI for an account that misuses it.

A research project in progress

LOGEN AI is offered as is and keeps changing as we learn. Features may change or pause, so keep your own copy of work you need with an export or a backup. As far as the law allows, VIABLE Lab isn’t responsible for losses from using LOGEN AI.

Changes and questions

When these terms change, we update this page and its date; using LOGEN AI after that means you accept the new version. Questions are welcome: contact the team.
